About this policy

This policy describes how Gradients.cool handles information in the Mac app, on this website, and when you contact support.

The Mac app

The app does not require an account and does not collect or transmit personal information to us. It contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. Image imports, gradient editing, rendering, and exports are processed locally on your Mac.

The app accesses files you choose to open, import, save, or export. Editable .gcool documents contain gradient settings and may include the name of an imported source image. Consider that information before sharing a file.

You control where documents and exports are saved and how long they are kept. Delete them using Finder when you no longer want them. Files saved to iCloud Drive or another synced folder may be uploaded by that service under your own settings; Gradients.cool does not operate that service.

Apple services

App Store distribution, purchases, and any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple are governed by your Apple settings and Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details. The app does not implement its own diagnostic reporting service.

This website

This website does not include advertising trackers or application analytics, and does not set cookies for those purposes. Fonts and product media are served with the site.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information or attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, investigate problems, and provide support. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.

Support correspondence is handled through our email provider and retained only as long as needed to resolve your request, handle follow-up, or meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use support messages for advertising. Service providers may process information on our behalf to deliver email and hosting; information may also be disclosed when required by law.

Your choices

We do not hold copies of the documents or images you create in the app. For personal information you send to support, you can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable law, including any required retention.
